by Leena Chhabra, Your Spiritual Mindset Coach
I’ve been postponing writing my first blog for far too long. My rational mind often jumps in, leading to analysis paralysis. If you’ve ever faced something for the first time, you probably understand that feeling. So, I let go of the idea of forcing it, knowing that no amount of willpower can create something meaningful. Deep down, I recalled from my past experiences of writing conscious poetry that “creation comes in stillness.” Today, as I sat quietly, enjoying the beauty of nature—the clear sky after the rain and the cool breeze against my skin—a profound connection came over me. It wasn’t just an idea for this blog; it was a flow of words I knew I had to capture in this state of pure awareness. For me, the magic of writing with a pen on paper still holds strong, a way of transforming creative energy into physical form. Later, I typed it into a document.
Discovering Your True Self - connection to the Higher Self !Today, I want to share this inner connection to your true self—whether you call it Source Energy, Divine, God, Universe, Nature, Pure Consciousness, or Higher Self. Almost a decade ago, I experienced satori, or instant awakening (to clarify, I’m not claiming to be enlightened) in a state of complete surrender. It became clear that manifestation of deep desires occurs naturally when we are connected to the Source. We don’t need to force or struggle ; desires align effortlessly with our spiritual state.
Who Can Access Their True Self?Anyone can connect to their true self by embodying the highest energies of love, peace, joy, and practicing mindfulness. Reflecting on past experiences, I realize these were the states I was in when I successfully manifested my desires. The love I’m referring to isn’t tied to any person, place, or thing—it’s a state of pure consciousness, a deep awareness of our inner connection to the Divine. When you’re in this state, you walk in peace, knowing you are always loved and safe, and that this love is infinitely accessible. Everything around you feels alive and connected, from the chair you sit on to the words you’re reading. This beautiful energy is always present in our lives. Pause for a moment—take a deep breath in and exhale slowly ,now look around. You’ll sense that loving oneness in your surroundings.
How Do You Stay Connected to your Source? In 2017, I discovered a prayer in my child’s school almanac that seemed synchronistic. It was a prayer by St. Francis: “Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” This resonated deeply, and I began practicing it regularly. This led me to realize the virtues that one need to embody to find this spiritual connection .
Letting go of hatred, ill feelings, and judgment—towards others or yourself—transforms low vibrations into higher, loving energy.
Forgiveness plays a key role in maintaining this connection.
Practicing mindfulness or present moment awareness of your thoughts, emotions, feelings in your daily life can help you become more aware of your inner state. If you find yourself self-critical, remind yourself that you are pure love.
Trust yourself and remember that we are all created from Divine love. Feel the loving spiritual energy beating in your heart right now ; it’s the same energy that beats in my heart and in everyone’s heart on this planet. This feeling of oneness is a connection to your true self.
As you go about your day, share this love with your family, neighbours, and everyone you meet. This loving energy multiplies the more you give it, strengthening your connection to your true self. It’s an infinite flow. This practice is a gentle reminder that we are LOVE !
As Dr Wayne Dyer said, “We are not our bodies, our possessions, or our careers. Who we are is Divine Love, and that is infinite.”
Meditation for Spiritual ConnectionRemember God is Love—and so are we !
